Gears skipping
Usually cable tension, a bent hanger, or a chain and cassette worn past their limit.
Brakes feel wrong
Usually worn pads, cable stretch, or air in a hydraulic line that needs bleeding.
Tyre keeps going down
Often the tube, the rim tape or the casing behind it, and most likely a lack of sealant as well.
Chain noise
Often a dry or stretched chain. A stretched one quietly wears the cassette with it.
Wheel is buckled
Usually trued at the spokes, though a cracked rim or a pulled eyelet needs replacing.
